MUST WATCH TRAVEL MOVIES

Wanna know why I have this really strong urge to go out and explore the world? Apart from owning and flipping pages of  Macmillan's Atlas at the age of two, I have been constantly eyeing and taking notes of different places on movies. I always watch Living Asia, National Geographic Channel, and Discovery channel.
I kind of dream of these places everyday.. I may not have travelled that much but I know one day, I WILL. Im taking it slow while I am still setting my priorities. One place, one place of realization at a time. My main goal in life is to embrace the gift of existence and to share Lifes goodness.

Travel movies are definitely a great inspiration which is why I am blogging about the travel movies I have watched in the past. Is it just me or you can relate as well?

Picking the top 10 would be  a very tough job for me and I am really bad at choosing and ranking stuff so so que sera sera!

Have you guys watched slumdog millionaire?

This movie brought India's way of living to a whole new height. Director Danny Boyle obviously showed how it is to live in India. This movie made me love India and made me wish to travel and experience living there someday.

Outsourced

This movie is funny romantic! Todd Anderson's job got outsourced and he must travel to India to train his own replacement.Leaving and turning back to your western way of living would take a lot of getting used to. Learning local customs and falling in love in a foreign country. This movie reminded me that sometimes "getting lost is the best way to find yourself"

The sisterhood of the travelling pants

its pretty much not more on travel story but of friendship. I love the plot of the movie, the acting and casts are just superb.  There are some scene that I really love. More focused on Lena(3rd in the photo) . She went to Greece to visit her grandparents. I think this is the time that I feel in love with Greece and started reading more about Greece.

BLUE CRUSH 1 and II

Haunted by the memory of her deceased mother, Dana leaves Malibu behind and heads to South Africa to fulfill her mother's dream of surfing Jefferys Bay.
Ive watched Blue crush 1 and 2 a year ago and it never failed to inspire me. Living the islander life is something I wanna be.  Surfing all day long is just so awesome. Plus the part where The film ends with Dana and everybody back on the bus sings "All Star."

INTO THE WILD

It is an American Biographical drama film that is based on the travels of Christopher McCandless across North America and his life spent in the wilderness. I cried when Chris writes a farewell letter to the world and crawls to his sleeping bag to die. *sobs*

MAP FOR SATURDAY is the product of a year’s travel through 26 countries on four continents. Emmy winning producer Brook Silva-Braga left his cushy gig with American TV network HBO to travel the world with five pounds of clothes and 30 pounds of video equipment.
(obviously copy pasted that synopsis from their official site. lol )
He spent a year travelling and spent more than 1millionPHP whoaaa I realized RTW trips are really pricey haha!
 THE BEACH
starred by Leonardo Dicaprio, shoot in the wild beach of Thailand. Hot men on a HOT beach. whats not to love? Chos!
Every movie here is moving and inspiring. I hope you were able to watch them. If not, please download it now <3 So I'll leave you with 7 of my many favorite movies. I have so much movie list in my mind but I would love to know yours too and please tell us why.  Do share them below ^_______^

  20. Among your list only The Beach is what I've watched. 3.5/5 Popcorns for me. I think it was shot in Koh Samui and Krabi, Thailand. One of my favorite travel movies is Just Go with It (2011) - Hawaii is just beautiful along with a nice comedy story. Among Pinoy movies, my favorites are When Love Begins (2008) and Milan (2004) - not only because they were shot in prime destination of Boracay and Italy but also because of its heart-warming story.
My least favorite travel movie is Elizabethtown (2005) - I just don't get how it became a romantic movie. It was boring though it was shot across various US states.
