#TRAVELMINDANAO | Tinuy-an Falls, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur

Tucked in a faraway barangay of Bislig City( aka Mangagoy )  lies a beautiful multi tiered waterfall known as "Tinuy-an Falls" also dubbed as the "Niagara falls of the Philippines", its pretty wide and grand; such magnificent gift of nature.

We arrived around 2 in the afternoon and it was heavily raining. It was such a challenge to take photos when raining and you don't have an umbrella. I guess I'm no girl-scout material, after all. So, forgive me if my photos don't seem to bring justice to the majestic place.

A fee of 50php is being collected upon arrival. The whole place looks neat and tidy, there's a designated garbage bin scattered in this hectare big of an area. There are also huts and cottages available for rental, a separate comfort room  for male & female, you can also avail the raft, rent life vests, and there are a number of pasalubong shops just in front of the premise.

The wooden bridge that serves as a viewing deck.

Rainy day at Tinuy-an falls. Tinuy-an falls look so beautiful with overflowing gush of water tho some  would say it looks prettier with just a little curtain and with the amazing rock formation behind.  Its beautiful, nonetheless.

Pang profile photo-ish moves.. It takes a lot of running. Thank you, Rain.
We managed to squeeze ourselves in a little day tent and just waited till the rain stop.

The mighty and grand Tinuy-an falls.

The rain did stop for quite a while when we were about to head out. Everyone hurriedly take photos and then left. We had to catch a van ride bound for Davao City.

We had an amazing time here. I'd love to go back here and I would love to swim by the basin. Perhaps ride the raft too? Maybe next time. Thank you and Ill see you again, Bislig City.

xoxo,
Your Summer Kinda Girl.

I'm bad in geography, lol, but my friends and I have plans on going there kasi. Baka there's a chance we can visit this too? :) I'm Liz, by the way, just got back to blogging and hoping we can be friends? Thank you. :)
