GUIDE: Siargao Island, Philippines

Siargao Island has been my favorite island in the Philippines since 2013. I can't stop talking about it. Everything Siargao-related still makes me smile. Every visit is different. A good kind of different. It's always memorable; Siargao memories is clear af in my mind.

Siargao Island is known for its surf breaks and it is the "SURF CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES".
I get asked a bunch of times why I love Siargao so much and "do you surf?" Answer is,' I love Siargao and nope, I don't surf that much." Well, I tried but I need to be in a great shape and of the best health to try again.

Although, I can vouch that you can do so much stuff in Siargao whether you surf or you don't. So... read a long if you want to know  more!

Beach Bumming

The only place I wouldn't mind being baked under the sun. There are so much beach spot in Siargao that I love. Beaches in Malinao, Union, Anajawan, General Luna and especially in Daku Island!

Island Hopping

Island hopping in Siargao is a beautiful way to explore the nice islands in Siargao. You'll get to visit Naked Island, Guyam Island, and Daku Island. You can get offers for as low as 450Php/head with lunch.

Magpupungko Rock Pools

A tidal pool that is situated in Pilar, half an hour from General Luna town. It's a beautiful infinity pool there is and it has interesting rock formations. I lost count on how many times I went here. It's beautiful!

Drunken Carabao Ride

Tired of the beach(but whyyyy???????) why not try joining one of the Drunken Carabao Ride/ Activities? Like them on facebook to know more. Basically you meet up at Drop Inn for some Local moonshine, get to know each other and then choose your water buffalo and ride all the way up to the mountains. I personally joined one of their tours and I had a fantastic time. Thanks Liam and Drop Inn boys! <3 <3

  1. Wow! Wala pa gud ko kaadto diri. Haha! Well, one of these days.

  2. Yay! May iba pang activities sa Siargao. Sa La Union, walang island hopping eh. May isang atttraction, yung falls, but we didn't go there kasi kulang kami sa time. And it involves trekking hahaha I wanna go to Siargao, because I heared there's whaleshark watching din, the one that's more okay than in Oslob's. Or maybe that's in Surigao? I'm confused. Hahaha Ay wait I googled and it's in Sorsogon, my bad. hahaha
