Thank you, 2015
Another year, another year-ender blog post. I know I'm such a bad blogger for not writing much this 2015 and for the unannounced hiatus. I've been so consumed with work and you know, life happened. But I always make sure to post my year in review. So... here you go.
As we bid 2015, Au revoir, let me take this opportunity to say my merci to the lessons and experiences.
2015 is a year of laughter and tears. I also had my fair share of tears, as always, teared up on a few mistakes and a whole lot of misfortunes but I'm still thankful for these experiences as it taught me to be more wiser and much stronger, but looking back, I definitely had the best laugh of my life. There are still a lot of things I am most grateful for and that I'm surely be bringing this best best of luck for the years to come.
Still working on it. It is something that can't be made overnight. I am still struggling with my health but we will be better in 2016. I claim that.
In 2014, I promised I better be good with my finances in 2015 and I did not fail. 2015 is my year for finance recovery. Although, it's always a "battle of wants vs. needs", I am happy I sorta won at some point. A decent amount of untouchable savings (TD) and enough touchable savings to end the year. In 2016, I promise to play my finance card way way better and hopefully double the amount of savings. Hurray! On my way to financial freedom! haha no, not quite.
I have a bunch of great friends and I'm over the moon to have them in my life, both online and offline. Thankful for the friends I've lost and those who stayed. Merci Beaucoup.
I may not have a perfect family but I'm always thankful to the very creator for blessing me with supportive and loving family. I couldn't be any more happier to my very stubborn( okay, the cute kind) but loving nephews. Awwee you guys keep me going.
I vow not to waste plane tickets but I failed immensely. Wasted a LOOOOOOT of flight tickets. I am sure there's a reason why I am made for impromptu travels. Aside from my travel misfortunes, I'm glad I was able to visit new places and revisit my favorite places. On January 1, my friends and I went to Bukidnon Overview. A panata for a year of good friendship and barkada trips. In March, I revisited Siargao Island and stayed for ten days and totally had a blast. In April, a couple weekly visit to Cagayan de Oro happened. In May, the first Barkada trip happened, we visited and enjoyed the rides at Dahilayan Adventure Zone/Park. I also spent a few days in Davao to renew my passport and pushed through with my dream trip to Mati in Davao Oriental. In June, I revisited Cebu City and met up with my long time online friends, also, You'll find me in Ormoc, Leyte every June of the year. July was a slow month, I lost my job a month prior so days were spent sending countless emails to prospect clients. In August, I spent a week in South Cebu, visiting Dalaguete, Boljoon, Oslob, Badian, Moalboal, and Carcar City. A Second barkada trip also happened, we toured Bohol and had a lovely time in Panglao. The rest of the months were basically spent working my ass off and jotting down dreams.
I wish nothing but good health and more work- travel opportunities in 2016.
Above all, I am most thankful for the people who made my 2015 a memorable one. Family and friends, words are not enough to express my gratitude to you all. Thank you for keeping up with me. You are my most precious gift. It's one of a hell ride, please stay the same y'all.
Thank you, 2015! Cheers! Here's to chasing after our dreams, collecting memories, and living life!
